These terms explain the rules for using Not the 11 Plus. By creating an account, buying a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Not the 11 Plus is a United Kingdom-based service operated by a sole trader trading as Not the 11 Plus. Support is currently provided by email only at notthe11plus@gmail.com.
Not the 11 Plus provides online 11 Plus practice for English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Practice questions are generated for the platform and are intended for educational practice. We aim to avoid showing the same child the same question again by using question history.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a subscription. If a child uses the service, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for creating and managing the account, supervising use where appropriate, and making sure the child uses the service in line with these terms.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. Tell us promptly by email if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Child device sessions are created by the parent or guardian and can be managed from the account area.
Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices and plan details are shown before purchase. We use Stripe to process checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and payment methods. We do not store full card numbers.
You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the account area, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal, but access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Paid plans are described as offering unlimited practice tests, and there is no monthly or lifetime cap on how many tests a learner can take. To keep the service fast for everyone and to protect our generated question bank from automated scraping, bulk extraction, or other misuse, we apply reasonable fair-use limits to how quickly and how frequently new tests can be generated for each learner — for example, a short minimum gap between generating tests and a daily generation limit per learner. These limits are set well above normal study use and are not intended to restrict genuine practice.
We may change these fair-use limits, or introduce additional safeguards — including automated bot detection and other anti-abuse or anti-scraping measures — at any time to protect the service and its content. If you reach a fair-use limit during genuine use you will be able to continue after a short wait. If you believe a limit is affecting you unfairly, contact notthe11plus@gmail.com.
You may cancel at any time. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once paid access has started, except where a refund is required by law or we choose to offer one at our discretion.

Each subscription is intended for the parent or guardian account holder and their child learner account use only. We may record technical data such as IP address, browser or device information, and timestamps to detect account sharing, scraping, fraud, or misuse. This is explained further in our Privacy Policy.
The service is for practice and learning support only. We do not guarantee that a child will pass the 11 Plus, gain a school place, improve by a particular amount, or receive error-free content at all times. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
The service, software, design, text, generated questions, explanations, and other platform content are owned by or licensed to us. During an active subscription, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the service for private educational practice only.
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, change, suspend, or remove parts of the service where needed for maintenance, security, product improvement, legal reasons, or business reasons.
We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, payment has failed, the service is being misused, or action is needed to protect the platform or other users. Serious misuse may result in immediate loss of access.
We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for claims connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to tell account holders, such as by email or an in-product notice. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
